SAE100R16 Compact General Purpose Hose

GENERAL PURPOSE COMPACT TWO-WIRE HOSE

This double-wire, non-skive, braided hydraulic hose is designed for medium to high-pressure applications. Its outer cover enhances abrasion resistance and meets or exceeds SAE J517 100R16 and EN857 2SC standards.

Technical Details

 

APPLICATION

Medium to high-pressure hydraulic lines. Suitable for petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, synthetic esters, biodegradable hydraulic fluids, water-glycol-based fluids and air.

Air Applications: For air and inert gas applications, the cover should be pinpricked.

 

CONSTRUCTION

Inner Tube: Synthetic rubber

Reinforcement: Two braids of high-tensile, flexible steel wire separated by a synthetic rubber layer

Outer Cover: Oil, weather, and abrasion-resistant synthetic rubber, black, MSHA compliant

 

SPECIFICATIONS

Standards: Meets or exceeds SAE J517 100R16, EN857 2SC

Approvals: MSHA

Temperature Range: -40°C - 100°C

Hose Tails: K series
